The Brief:

This client needed a website that offered simplicity of use and maintenance, combined with a design that reflected the warm, homey nature of the retreat. This was an opportunity for potential guests to get a glimpse of their next escape.

They had found great success on AirBnb in terms of attracting guests, but needed a website that allowed the true personality of the property to shine through, outside the standard design & structure of the AirBnb listing pages.

The Website

The Ellerslie Lakeside Retreat website needed to meet the following needs:

  • Smooth user experience, guiding the browser through considering their options to making a booking

  • Uncluttered with a limed number of pages

  • Clearly outline what guests could expect from the property’s history, facilities and location.

Website features

  • Built in Squarespace, allowing for easy use by the client when needed

  • Single page experience with jumplinks throughout - modelled of a sales pages concept which focuses on a single key message and call to action.

  • Side navigation for easy movement through information sections

  • Custom accent font that adds to the brand’s impression on the website.

  • Instagram gallery integration to encourage customers to connect on other platforms.
